PRESIDENT Sata has arrived back home from Brussels, Belgium, where he was among heads of state who attended the fourth European Union-Africa Summit.
The President arrived in the country aboard Kenya Airways which touched down at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport around 00:22 hours in the early hours of yesterday.
President Sata was welcomed by Vice-President Guy Scott, Minister of Finance Alexander Chikwanda, Minister of Defence Edgar Lungu, Minister of Home Affairs Ngosa Simbyakula, Minister of Justice Wynter Kabimba, service chiefs and senior government officials.
While in Brussels, the President held a closed-door meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and discussed issues pertaining to strengthening bilateral relations between Zambia and Poland.
The President also held a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, at Berlaymont Building in Brussels and discussed various issues, including the negotiations on the Economic Partnership Agreement.- ZNBC.
