And Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts Elvis Nkandu said K4 million has been set aside for 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Addressing journalists in Lusaka yesterday, Nkandu said K10 million out of K30 million has already been released and will be shared among all the 116 districts.
He said K30 million is meant for sports development such as talent identification and infrastructure development.

He said the budget for the Olympic Games outing is not yet known but there is a K4 million that has been indicated in the yellow book.
“It’s difficult to give a specific budget because some athletes are still competing in qualifiers.
Once the budget is done, we shall definitely inform the nation,” Nkandu said.
He said Government is doing a lot to improve the lives of athletes and no-one should politicise sport…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
