A ZAMBIA Revenue Authority (ZRA) officer has told the court that he did not see any anomaly in the manner Den Daas Investment Limited and Leo Jonas Ngosa Investment Limited sold their shares in Samfya Marines and Tourism Services Limited to Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya.
Mambwe Musungaila, an assistant director under the informal sector and medium tax payers office, also said the two companies paid taxes following the sale of shares.
Mr Musungaila was testifying in a case Chilufya, 48, is charged with four counts of being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
Between December 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017, Chilufya allegedly had US$200,000 which was used to buy 6,000 shares in Samfya Marines and Tourism Services Limited, which were owned by Den Daas Investment Zambia Limited. CLICK TO READ MORE
