Zambia, Zim nod industrialisation

ZAMBIA and Zimbabwe have agreed to develop a joint industrialisation programme to promote industrial cooperation and increase competitiveness of goods produced by the two countries. The Zambia-Zimbabwe Technical Working Group (TWG) on the joint industrialisation programme has agreed on an action matrix to guide the implementation of the initiative and provide a time frame for achieving the set targets. The TWG has also agreed to establish committees comprised of technocrats from ministries of Commerce, Trade and Industry and Agriculture to advance the different pillars agreed in the memorandum of understanding.
