AFTER recording two successive wins against Malawi and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Zambia will today advance to the semi-finals of the Mopani Copper Mines Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Under-20 Championship if they avoid defeat against Mozambique.
If Zambia win in this Group A final fixture at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe, they will set up a semi-final date with Group C winners Zimbabwe.
But even if the opposite happens, they will still pull through as best losers in which case they will face defending champions South Africa in the last four.
Zambia have six points, two clear of Mozambique, while Malawi are on one with DRC yet to pick up any point.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
