Zambia face Algeria barrier, eye Gold Cup

RUGBY

MULWANDA LUPIYA, Ndola
ZAMBIAN ruggers will today target qualifying for the Gold Cup when they face Algeria in an Africa Silver Cup final at Leopard’s Cage in Mufulira.
The Gold Cup is also a qualifying competition for the Rugby World Cup.
Currently, the Gold Cup is made up of six nations – Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Tunisia and Morocco.
This encounter, which pits Silver South and Silver North winners, comes barely 11 months after Algeria overcame Zambia 30-25 in a bronze cup match at the same venue.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
