PRESIDENT Lungu says Government is in the process of acquiring more land for the Zambia Forestry and Forest Industry Corporation (ZAFFICO) to develop into plantations in Mporokoso and Luwingu districts in Northern Province to preserve the forests and create employment.
Speaking yesterday when he officially launched the 1,947-hectare ZAFFICO plantation in Kasama, President Lungu said 200 jobs will be created in Kasama and many more throughout the country where ZAFFICO will carry out massive plantations.
The President, with his entourage, led the way to plant some trees at the plantation.
