Youths with albinism to get skills

MWAKA LENGALENGA, Lusaka
Light of the World Foundation and Woman of Skill Hub have partnered to empower young people living with albinism in various life skills such as tailoring, catering, cake baking, wig making and décor and events management.
The one-day cupcake baking training programme held recently brought together different youths living with albinism.
Catherine Mapiki, a student of Eden University living with albinism, said the programme inspired her to work hard and also help her acquire an income, and also empower other people.
“Maybe in the near future, I can have a bakery and employ other people,” she said.
