Wina leads Parley epilogue, pleads for peace

STEVEN MVULA, Parliament
IN A moving notice of motion to suspend Standing Orders for Parliament to adjourn sine die next Wednesday, Vice-President Inonge Wina yesterday urged politicians to preach peace and avoid any form of violence because Zambians abhor the vice.
The motion is to enable Parliament to sit from 09:00 hours to 20:00 hours on Tuesday May 10 and from 09:00 hours on Wednesday May 11 until business and all matters arising therefrom are concluded.
And United Party for National Development (UPND) parliamentary whip Gary Nkombo said any form of violence after the August 11 general election will be an indictment on Government and so politicians must speak against it.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
