Wildlife officers face relocation

CATHERINE MUMBA, Choma
OFFICERS in the Department of National Parks and Wildlife who have worked in the Lochinvar National Park in Monze for over 10 years will be transferred to other stations as one way to stop poaching of the highly prized lechwe.
This is in light of investigations by the Ministry of Tourism and Arts which have proved that a cartel of senior civil servants, wildlife officers, traditional and civic leaders, is poaching the endangered species.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
