THE Western world has entangled itself in efforts to democratise the Arab world without considering their culture and other pertinent aspects of the people there.
These same ‘champions’ of democracy have been focusing on changing goal-posts when their interests are not achieved.
This has led to guerrilla tactics coming into play by their victims, whose lives have become so miserably and hopelessly laid bare by the ‘democracy champions’.
The current episodes, though not supported by any ethnic or religious doctrines, of murdering innocent journalists are being stoked by the conduct of the same ‘champions of democracy’ in world affairs.
Now the horrific murders of journalists are being turned into a pretext for another full-scale war of aggression in the Middle East, driven by the same underlying agenda – to exercise unchallenged domination over the entire region.
Steven Sotloff, the second American journalist that was barbarically killed by ISIS of Islamic State (IS), would not have died if it was not for the behaviour of these ‘democracy champions’.
On the video, Sotloff’s executioner declares: “I’m back, Obama, and I’m back because of your arrogant foreign policy towards the Islamic State… So just as your missiles continue to strike our people, our knife will continue to strike the necks of your people.â€
This is pathetic and inhuman by both these players!
This barbaric beheading of Sotloff follows that of James Foley, the first to be killed in a similar manner.
The murderers have threatened to also kill a British hostage, David Haines.
Please, I urge these ‘democracy champions’ to be realistic and have mercy and remorse on the families being affected by their conduct of world affairs.
