Veep commends Women of Influence

VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina has commended the role the organisation Women of Influence plays in supporting the poor women and children in society.
Speaking at a breakfast meeting hosted by Women of Influence, Mrs Wina, who was represented by minister of Lands and Natural Resources Christabel Ngimbu, said the women group should also be commended for paying school fees for 53 vulnerable children in Lusaka’s Kalingalinga township.
“The women are doing great in supporting the future leaders in Kalinglinga to further their education, mending and building marriages and helping the youths spiritually,” she said.
And Women of Influence founder prophetess Elfredah Musambazi said the women have done a lot in helping society in many ways in the 18 years of its existence.
Prophetess Musambazi said the women should double their efforts by ensuring that more people are reached.
“We have impacted positively on many lives in society but there is need to do more. As women, we should dream more on how best we can help out,” she said.
Prophetess Musambazi also urged women to believe in God and speak positively in their lives if they were to live successful lives.
“One cause of poverty is possessing a poor mentality. The power of your mouth is crucial in the power of your prosperity,” she said.
