AS ANTICIPATED, two Super Division Week 26 matches failed to take place yesterday after Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy (KYSA) and Nakambala Leopards opted to stay away from the league due to the coronavirus outbreak.
KYSA were scheduled to play Green Buffaloes at Edwin Imboela Stadium while Nakambala should have hosted Zanaco in Mazabuka.
Nakambala had indicated that they would not participate in the remaining matches because they don’t want to risk the lives of their players, while KYSA said they were in quarantine.
With both Buffaloes and Zanaco geared for the matches and referees available, their opponents were nowhere to be seen.
The scenario means both Zanaco and Buffaloes will be awarded three points by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) from these two encounters. CLICK TO READ MORE
