Trust Kalunga releases new single

TRUST Kalunga.

Gospel Grooves with FELIX NYAMBE
FOLLOWING the success of his debut album, When I am Weak and his follow-up album, God Is At Work which all came in the last three years, gospel minister, Trust Kalunga has released another uplifting single titled Jesus Is Famous.Kalunga has featured the Tanzanian songstress, Jane Miso, of the famous Ebenezer song on his new project.
Jane’s music, particularly the song Omoyo has been enjoying local airplay both on the radio and in some churches.
Produced by Cloud and recorded at Blessed Records, Jesus Is Famous may just live to its title because Kalunga thinks there “is no God like Jehovah”.
“Yes, I can confirm that I am done with my new single titled Jesus Is Famous and it has been well received on social media,” shared Kalunga.
Kalunga further said it was inspiring to have worked with his Nigerian and Tanzanian counterparts in his previous and current project.
“The song Jesus Is Famous encourages men and women of God, including gospel ministers of the word of Jesus Christ across the world to strive to glorify God’s name more than their personal ventures,” he said.
Preachers of the gospel have led their flock astray by not sticking to the tenets of the Bible as the Lord Jesus taught, Kalunga said.
“More than often, we as gospel artistes also tend to be swayed by things of the world instead of using the Bible as our daily bread to connect us with our Creator,” he observed.
His new album, God Is at Work is now available in all Sounds outlets countrywide.
Kalunga’s music can also be downloaded on music sites such as Apple Music and Amazon.com.
God is also opening doors for Kalunga in other continents as witnessed when my music was played on a live radio programme in America called The Giants of Africa.
For now, Kalunga is also set to launch his DVD in August this years at a crusade targeted for Chingola town. His music is being promoted by United Kingdom-based firm Star Extension.
“Star Extension, which is my promotional outfit, is happy with the improvement of my music, because the standard of my music has been growing over the years,” he shared.
Kalunga is known for songs such as Apasa Mosiyana, Buku La Moyo, Chitemwiko (featuring Philemon from Kings’ Royal Gospel band), Happy Birthday as well as Bakampala.
His more recent album had such revealing songs as Insansa, Yamika, Thank You Lord (Ft. Blessing), Mulaba Naine, Mwebamona and Mulumbwe, the song which he says brought him to prominence.
He said most of his songs are inspired by biblical scriptures because only through the reading of the Bible can one find full redemption.
