T-Sean on site

T-SEAN

NDANGWA MWITTAH, Livingstone
IN an effort to rebrand, multi-talented dancehall artiste T-Sean has launched a website that will be used to promote both his music as well as that of some diamonds in the rough.
T-Sean (Richard Mulenga), who has also released a new single titled Lying to You, has uploaded all his five studio albums on his official website.
The five albums that have been uploaded on www.tseanbaila.com are Adam, 90 Days, Time Bomb, Comfort Zone and Faith.
“I am in music for business purposes and I know for a fact that in order for people to take me seriously, I have to take myself seriously and that is why I decided to come up with this website where people can find everything I have done and also get an insight of what I am up to,” he said.
“Having a website as an artiste is very important because it basically shows that you are indeed in the game for business much as it can be for fun.”
Before launching the website, the Baila Music Empire mogul who also runs the Daddy Cares Initiative, a foundation that looks into the plight of children and their access to education used to rely on his ReverbNation and social media pages.
“This is massive for me as an artiste because I had always wanted people to see me as a brand that I am. I have also uploaded all my five albums there for people to download freely,” he said.
T-Sean disclosed that he was looking to come up with a structure consisting of professionals to manage and handle the affairs of the Baila Empire Music.
He says once the label is fully-fledged with structures, it will give an opportunity to young and upcoming artistes to blossom.
“There are a lot of talented artistes out there that send me songs that are very good and I feel bad because there is nothing I can do for them just yet without a proper structure under the label,” he said.
T Sean, who also goes by the name of DJ Baila and Thee High Grade, is a singer, rapper, song writer, and producer.
In 2012, T-Sean together with T-Bwoy founded Busy Baila International, a studio and record label that unearthed the likes of Wezi.
