Sumaili prays for needles boy

MINISTER of National Guidance and Religious Affairs Godfridah Sumaili.

NANCY SIAME, Lusaka
MINISTER of National Guidance and Religious Affairs Godfridah Sumaili yesterday led the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) to pray for Richard Zulu, the three-year-old boy of Chipata who had 44 needles and wires imbedded in various parts of his body.
Mrs Sumaili said many churches in the country have been praying for the complete healing of Richard, who was evacuated from Chipata last week after a directive by President Lungu.
“I would like to thank the President and the Minister of Health for the quick response in evacuating the boy to the University Teaching Hospital,” she said.
She said all citizens are concerned about and touched by Richard’s condition.
Mrs Sumaili thanked EFZ for steering prayers for Richard’s recovery.
“We should not just pray for Richard but other children who are going through pain,” she said.
She said God has the power to heal any illness, natural or supernatural. http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
