State calls for black mountain order

GOVERNMENT says small-scale miners operating at the mine slug dump popularly known as “Black Mountain” in Kitwe will now start operating in a more structured and legal way following the conclusion of negotiations with Nkana Alloy, the majority stakeholders.
And Minister of Mines and Minerals Development Richard Musukwa has urged Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) to address concerns of workers and unions regarding the outsourcing of certain functions at the mine to foster confidence and unity of purpose.
