Sikazwe rues Chipolopolo absence

REFEREE Janny Sikazwe says officiating at the 2017 Gabon Africa Cup of Nations will be emotional due to the Chipolopolo’s absence.
Chipolopolo missed out of the AfCON outing after finishing third in Group B behind Guinea Bissau and Congo-Brazzaville.
Sikazwe, who is one of the referees appointed to officiate at the biennual event, said it is always exciting to officiate the continental tournament when the Chipolopolo are competing.
But apart from Sikazwe, Zambia’s CAF executive committee member Kalusha Bwalya and former Chipolopolo physician Joseph Kabungo will be at the AfCON performing different roles.
Kabungo, a member of the CAF medical committee, has been assigned to Group C where he will reunite with former Zambia coach Herve Renard, who is in charge of Morocco.
