Sichone quits

MOSES Sichone.

FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) assistant technical director Moses Sichone has resigned 10 months into the job.
Sichone, domiciled in Germany for more than 15 years until last December when he took up the appointment replacing Honour Janza, said he did not enjoy working at Football House.
“I have resigned. I gave them a letter yesterday [Monday]. I feel like my contributions are no longer needed. I just feel that way. I feel I owe a lot to this country after what I achieved as a player,” said the former Cologne player.
He, however, was gracious: “I would like to sincerely thank the Football Association of Zambia for giving me an opportunity to work with them. I would also like to thank the entire nation for the support. I know one day another door will still open. I still have passion for Zambian football and to help my county,” the former Zambia defender said.
