‘Siamese’ docs honoured

UNIVERSITY Teaching Hospital (UTH) doctors who successfully separated the conjoined Kawambwa siamese twins have been honoured for their meritorious achievement.
The nine doctors were among 18 people who were honoured by President Edgar Lungu yesterday for their distinguished service to the nation.
The decorated medics are Bruce Bvulani, Vernon Pashi (posthumously), Robert Mwansa and Christopher Chanda.
Others are Sylvia Machona, Kunda Kapembwa, Jean Chitende, Peggy Mashiki and Rebecca Kamboyi.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
