THE national women team’s outing to Ivory Coast for camping ahead of the Ghana Africa Cup of Nations was yesterday put on hold with Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development acting permanent secretary John Zulu insisting the She-polopolo will camp in Abidjan.
And Zambia will face Equatorial Guinea in the opening match in Group B at the Africa Cup of Nations following the Confederation of African Football (CAF)’s decision to reinstate the West Africans.
Meanwhile, Kenya has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against the CAF appeal board’s decision to reinstate Equatorial Guinea.
