SEC, CISI partner

THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has partnered with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) to provide effective framework to build capacity in the capital markets.
CISI is a professional body of choice for financial service practitioners within the securities and investment industry, and has a range of globally-recognised qualifications that supports individuals through membership from student level to the pinnacle of their career.
SEC secretary and chief executive officer Phillip Chitalu said the partnership will develop a relationship that supports practitioners to achieve, uphold and improve knowledge and skills.
Mr Chitalu said during the opening of the inaugural training of train-the-trainer session for CISI qualifications yesterday, that the partnership will also promote highest standards of ethics and integrity in the securities and investment industry in Zambia and the region.
