I WOULD like to commend Government security wings for the ongoing raid on suspected illegal immigrants in our country, especially at a time the continent is under threat from the deadly Ebola virus disease.
It is good that churches without proper foundations and documentation have been targeted by the Department of Immigration and other security wings where these people hide in the name of God.
However, I wish to advise the security agencies to also pounce on foreigners running mostly grocery shops in our communities for screening because most of them do not have proper documentation and are illegally staying in the country.
Some of them are running shops where alcoholic beverages are sold as early as 06:00 hours and this is against Zambian law.
Can we apply the law on those found wanting accordingly.
