Saturday clinics for LGBTIs set

A HIGH-LEVEL three-day regional dialogue meeting held in Lusaka last week looked at how the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersexuals (LGBTIs) community can easily access healthcare in Zambia.

The meeting, organised by Southern Africa HIV and AIDS Information Dissemination Service (SAfAIDS) at Pamodzi Hotel, was attended by representatives from Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia and Botswana.
Some organisations that had representation included Plan International Zambia, Friends of RAINKA, University of Maryland Zambia, Hivos Southern Africa and Trans Bantu Zambia (TBZ) among others.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
