SA farmers pledge US$100 million

MACKSON WASAMUNU, Lusaka
A DELEGATION of 24 prominent South African farmers arrived in Zambia yesterday with a pledge to invest US$100 million in the country’s agriculture sector.
The farmers are in the country to engage in discussions with the government and other stakeholders on their plans to come and invest in different agriculture-related businesses.
Delegation leader Dirk Hanekom described Zambia’s agriculture potential as lucrative and that it can transform the country’s prosperity.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
