Rural firms prodded to help poor

HENRY SINYANGWE, Mporokoso
THE Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) has appealed to rural-based civil society organisations to be more vibrant and advocate the needs of their communities.
And Mporokoso district education board secretary Denis Chisulo says there are 18 centres, 10 public and eight private, offering early childhood education in the area.
ZCSD executive director Lewis Mwape said the civil society has been helping the government through monitoring its projects and ensuring they benefit the beneficiary communities.READ MORE
