Report card: Kalampa sizzle in thriller

THE sun was slowly walking past the famous Black Mountain in Wusakile as I sauntered into the former Scrivener Stadium to see in flesh the top of the bill clash between run away league leaders Nkana and hitherto second placed Nchanga Rangers.
The atmosphere outside the stadium was far from the chaotic scenes on show in most stadia in Zambia.
The Rotary Club and Nkana officials impeccably let in a sea of fans. I went through three check points before entering the stadium. All with little hassle.
Of course, I witnessed an isolated incident of a named newly elected Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) executive committee member, who gate minders failed to identify and was denied free passage into the arena.
