‘Religious Affairs Ministry for partnership with the church’

PRESIDENT Lungu says the formation of the Ministry of National Guidance and Religious Affairs was not to control the church but to consolidate a partnership aimed at improving the lives of Zambians.
President Lungu said government recognises that the church has a role to play in uniting people and preaching peace.
The President said this in Chibombo district yesterday in a speech read for him by the Minister of National Guidance and Religious Affairs Godfridah Sumaili at the Pentecostal Assemblies of God- Zambia (PAOZG) installation of presiding bishop Robertson Nonde.READ MORE
