Professors step into CBU rift

Naison Ngoma

NKOMBO KACHEMBA, Kitwe
THE stand-off between management and unionised workers at the Copperbelt University (CBU) has entered day three forcing professors, who are part of management, to start lecturing the students.
Unionised workers at CBU have vowed not to resume work until their vice-chancellor Naison Ngoma, whom they have accused of being incompetent and mismanaging resources at the institution, resigns from his position.
Early this year, the unionised workers did the unthinkable when they locked Prof Ngoma in his office during protests to pressure him into leaving his position.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
