Prayer is answer to road carnage

Dear editor,
I AM deeply concerned about the number of road accidents the country is recording.
We all know Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA), though not perfect, has really been working to ensure road carnages are curbed. It, however, seems despite the many interventions, the situation is getting worse.
For a Christian nation that we are, we need to know that we are constantly in spiritual battle. We therefore need to be alert all the time. While we know that some accidents are due to human error and negligence, there are also accidents which are caused spiritually.
In such cases, it does not matter how experienced or careful the driver may be. Accidents are bound to happen unless someone seeks divine intervention of God. The sooner we realise this, the sooner the solution will be found.
Being a Christian, I am of the view that we should hold national prayers to ask God to intervene in our situation.
We need to put a stop to this evil spillage of blood on our roads, and Jesus is the answer.
