‘IT won’t be an easy game. Nakambala are difficult to beat at home. Remember last year we drew while most of the big teams lost in Mazabuka so we need to be focused,†Power Dynamos assistant coach Anderson Phiri said.
Power take on Nakambala Leopards today as the MTN Super Division enters round five.
Power with two games in hand are on six points, two behind leaders Green Eagles, who are away to ‘Mighty’ Mufulira Wanderers.
Others on six points are reigning champions Zesco United, Nchanga Rangers, Konkola Blades and Wanderers.
NAKAMBALA v POWER
Power have hit the ground running shaking the net six times and conceding nothing.
With Felix Sunzu, Jimmy Ndhlovu, Kelvin Mubanga, Kennedy Mudenda and Christopher Munthali enjoying top form, Nakambala need a miracle to cause an upset in Mazabuka.
But playing in front of their fans, Nakambala are stubborn and striker Signs Chibambo will lead the chase for the first win.
Dick Ngwenya-coached Nakambala will be buoyed by the fact that they held Power to a goalless draw in Mazabuka last season.
WANDERERS v EAGLES
‘Mighty’ Wanderers will seek to bounce back from last Sunday’s 1-4 defeat to Zesco when Eagles visit Shinde Stadium in Mufulira.
Coach Manfred Chabinga will rely on Erick Chibuye and Taonga Bwembya to hand Eagles the first defeat.
On the other hand, Eagles will be hoping to get back to winning ways after the goalless draw with Napsa Stars and 1-1 draw with Nakambala.
Eagles will look to Adamson Mulawo, Boyd Mwangelwa and Kizito Cheelo for victory.
Nkwazi will aim to beat Blades and hope that Wanderers overcome Eagles so that they go top of the log.
Buoyed by last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Red Arrows, Nkwazi will seek to claim their third successive victory.
But it will not be easy for Nkwazi at Konkola Stadium in Chililbombwe because Blades will be seeking to maintain their unbeaten run.
In an early kick off at the same venue, Nchanga Rangers face Lusaka Dynamos.
This match pits teams that have won the Super Division title 11 times – six for Zanaco and five for Green Buffaloes.
As Wedson Nyirenda-tutored Buffaloes were battering Forest Rangers 3-0 last Saturday, Zanaco came from behind to hold Lusaka Dynamos to a 1-1 draw.
With Zanaco on five points, two better than Buffaloes, this match at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka could go either way.
The other match at the same venue will be an early kickoff between Napsa Stars and Forest Rangers.
Elsewhere, Red Arrows face National Assembly at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka while Nkana engage Zesco in Kitwe tomorrow.
