FIRST Lady Esther Lungu says poor housing continues to be a threat to the well-being of women in the country.

Mrs Lungu said women, who are vulnerably housed, are more afflicted with a range of ailments such as clinical depression and chronic and infectious diseases.
She was speaking yesterday during a Habitat for Humanity Zambia ‘women build’ event sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank where four houses will be constructed in Mapepe for vulnerable female-headed households.
