Police hunt UPND members for assault, murder threats

TWO University Teaching Hospital (UTH) security guards are nursing injuries suffered when suspected United Party for National Development (UPND) cadres allegedly beat them on Wednesday.
And police in Southern Province have launched a manhunt for three United Party for National Development (UPND) cadres for allegedly threatening to kill Patriotic Front (PF) Moomba parliamentary candidate Alice Mwiinga.
Police assistant public relations officer Esther Katongo said that in the UTH incident the cadres were in the company of the party’s vice-president for administration Geoffrey Mwamba and former Vice-President Guy Scott who had gone to visit a sick traditional leader at the hospital.
