Peasant to hang for murder over K20

CHALI MULENGA, Livingstone
A 21-YEAR-OLD peasant farmer of Choma has been sentenced to death by the Livingstone High Court for killing his friend over a K20.
Judge Kenneth Mulife has ordered that Brevan Hanzuki be hanged for killing Easier Mutambwa. Mutambwa had asked for an axe and immediately struck him on the head for demanding what he owed.
“I am satisfied that the prosecution has proved its case and I find him guilty of the charge of murder. I will convict him accordingly.
