Para officer, 2 others found with lion fat, leopard skin

THE Department of National Parks and Wildlife in Livingstone has arrested a paramilitary police officer of Lusaka and two peasant farmers of Kazungula district for allegedly being in possession of a leopard skin, lion fat and teeth.
In an interview yesterday, department senior regional warden Lewis Daka identified the police officer as Walubita Imasiku, 45, of Lilayi.
“Imasiku was jointly arrested with Silanze Chilambe, 37, and Cosmas Mungabwa, 33, both of Chief Musokotwane’s area in Kazungula,” he said.
