Over 2,000 army recruits pass out

OVER 2,000 young Zambians who have joined the ranks of the army have been commanded to uphold discipline or they will be booted out.
They formally joined the army yesterday at a passout parade at Lukanga Army Battle Training Area in Kapiri-Mposhi.
Zambia Army Commander William Sikazwe told the recruits that discipline is cardinal in the army as it enables soldiers to complete missions, exercises and trainings.
He said his command would not hesitate to dismiss undisciplined soldiers.
Lieutenant General Sikazwe also commanded the new recruits to remain non-partisan.
