Opposition undermining fight against corruption – Wina

NANCY SIAME, Parliament
GOVERNMENT’S fight against corruption is being undermined by the opposition and being used as a tool to demean the leadership, Parliament has heard.
Vice-President Inonge Wina yesterday told Parliament that the opposition is using corruption to try to demean Government.
She said this during the Vice-President’s question time session.
This was in response to Ndola Central Member of Parliament (MP) Emmanuel Mulenga (PF), who wanted to know Government’s position on corruption following the strong stance against the vice by President Edgar Lungu.
“The fight against corruption is the responsibility of everyone, but unfortunately, this is being dramatised by the opposition,” she said.
