ACTING Legal Aid Board director Kelvin Muzenga is happy that some Communication Cooperation and Coordination Initiative (CCCI) chapters are executing measures that are easing bail conditions being set on people who are before the courts of law.
Mr Muzenga said it is good that some courts are not imposing cash bail conditions on people who are waiting for a court trial.
He said this at the just ended CCCI exchange programme that brought together six CCCI chapters – Chingola, Choma, Livingstone, Lusaka, Kitwe and Mazabuka – in Livingstone.
The CCCI membership comprises the Director of Public Prosecutions, Judiciary, Legal Aid Board, Zambia Correctional Service and the Zambia Police Service. CLICK TO READ MORE
