Nkandu to leave doors of his office open

ELIZABETH CHATUVELA, Lusaka
MINISTER of Youth, Sport and Art Elvis Nkandu says he will  run an open door policy to allow for  contributions and constructive criticism to help harness sports development in the country. Nkandu said his ministry will embrace criticism as this will help them to know areas they need to improve on.
He has since called on sports non-governmental organising  (NGOs) and the sports fraternity at large  not to leave the formulation of sports policies to the ministry alone
“Criticism is what help us to develop. Ours will be an open  door  policy so that you can bring ideas that will help us grow and start winning medals for the country, “ he said
Nkandu was speaking yesterday when sports non-governmental organisation (NGOs) paid  courtesy call on him.
The sports NGOs include Sport in Action, National Organisations for Women in Sports (NOWSPAR), Edusport and Play It Forward.
