Nkana players in K200,000 windfall

MOPANI Copper Mines (MCM) has given Nkana players K200,000 to share for their outstanding performance last season and challenged them to win the CAF Champions League kicking off next week.
And striker Idris Mbombo and midfielder Harrison Chisala were the biggest winners during the gala night on Saturday after bagging two awards apiece.
Nkana won the Samuel ‘Zoom’ Ndhlovu Charity Shield, Barclays Cup and finished second on the Super Division table to book a ticket to the prestigious CAF Champions League.
MCM board chairman Moses Chilangwa, chief financial officer John Chiwele and club president Everisto Kabila presented the cheque to Bwalya.
