We need to survive relegation – Phiri

ALEX NJOVU, Lusaka
NAKAMBALA Leopards coach Patrick Phiri is spending sleepless nights to ensure his team survives relegation.
Phiri said from Mazabuka yesterday that the remaining 10 Super Division matches are crucial to the club’s stay in the elite league.
“I am working 24 hours in order to find the right winning formula for the team,” he said.
The veteran coach is upbeat the Mazabuka outfit will survive the chop.
“Our main focus is to ensure that our strikers start scoring, we want to sharpen our front line that is where the problem is. All the departments are doing well. Sometimes we perform well but we end up losing games because luck is not on our side,” Phiri said.
He urged fans to continue rallying behind the team.
Phiri said tomorrow’s Super Division Week 21 match against Forest Rangers in Mazabuka is a must win.
Nakambala are second from bottom with 14 points at par with National Assembly.
