NATIONAL Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) is projecting to grow its investment portfolio to K27 billion by the end of this year from K21 billion recorded as at September 2017.
Head of corporate affairs Cephas Sinyangwe said under the 2018 to 2021 investment strategic plan, the target is to close the portfolio size at K27 billion by the end of this year and to grow at an annual growth rate of 19 percent.
Responding to a press query, Mr Sinyangwe said the objective of generating a return on investments is to ensure benefits are paid to beneficiaries as and when they fall due.
“With a well-diversified portfolio, the authority is assured that members’ funds are invested in a prudent manner with the objective of generating a return on investments as well as growth of the asset base,” he said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
