NAPSA takes legal action against 1,200 employers

THE National Pensions Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has taken legal action against 1,200 employers for allegedly breaching various statutory obligations.
Two of the employers have successfully been convicted on the Copperbelt.

Acting NAPSA north regional manager Mushoke Namiluko said over 500 employers on the Copperbelt, Luapula, Muchinga, Northern and North-Western provinces have been taken to court for non-compliance to statutory obligations.
“We have one employer in Luanshya who has spent one month in prison, another one in Chililabombwe has spent one week in prison. This is a serious thing, so employers should comply,” he said.
