Mukula log exports transparent – Kampyongo

GOVERNMENT has assured of transparency and accountability in the exportation of mukula logs forfeited to the State.

Acting Chief Government Spokesperson Stephen Kampyongo has also said that youths who unlawfully intercepted 21 trucks ferrying mukula logs recently will be prosecuted regardless of their political affiliation.
The trucks laden with mukula logs were intercepted in Shimabala, on the Lusaka-Kafue highway, on Friday by suspected Patriotic Front and United Party for National Development cadres.
