Mr Swagger a.k.a C.R.I.$.I.$, to play at Ragga Fest

ZAMBIAN rapper C.R.I.$.I.$ or Mr Swagger as he prefers to call himself, who is now based in Perth, Australia, is expected to perform at the Ragga Mini Festival to be held at The Bakery – 233, James St, Northbridge in his adopted country.
According to the organisers, the Ragga Mini Fest is a night filled with reggae music, good food and positive chilled out vibes.
“It is a night that will showcase different cultures, their foods, clothes and ways of life using the bridge that brings us all together… the love of reggae music. In addition there will be amazing performances from our very own local artistes from all over Western Australia,” the organisers say.
“There will also be food stalls with a ray of different cultural foods and various merchandising stalls with lovely WA owned cultural products like clothes and accessory ornaments
“This is the first series of mini reggae festivals to be held all around Australia leading to the long awaited return of Raggamuffin Festival in 2015.”
The Ragga Mini Fest will also be used as an audition platform for the fans of Raggamuffin festival to choose the support acts that will play alongside the international acts at Raggamuffin Festival 2015 that will feature Sean Paul next month.
Other than Mr Swagger, the line-up at the Ragga Mini Fest includes Fine Company, Ngati, Dilip’ N The Davs, Lion Rezz, Raggadat Cris and Exzempt Dance Crew.
Mr Swagger is known here for being the first artiste to release a purely hip-hop album titled Officer in Charge, which did relatively well on the international scene. He has since gone on to share the stage with the likes of Akon and Sean Paul as well as getting an invite to attend the 54th Grammy Awards in 2012.
