PATRIOTIC Front (PF) members of Parliament (MPs) yesterday cheered Luena MP Gertrude Imenda (ADD) when she described the US$286 million state-of the-art Mongu-Kalabo road as “a dream come true.”
The Mongu-Kalabo road has a record 26 bridges and is the most expensive single road project in Zambia, built in the wet plains of Western Province.
Before asking Vice-President Inonge Wina a question on pontoons during the 30 minutes question time, Ms Imenda said: “I would like to show appreciation for the long-awaited bridge across the Zambezi River. It is a dream come true.”
