Mnangagwa calls for united effort

ZIMBABWEAN President Emmerson Mnangagwa has called for strengthening of ties between Zambia and his country for the two sister nations to attain the middle-income status by 2030.
Speaking at State House yesterday during the investiture ceremony to mark Zambia’s 54th independence anniversary, Mr Mnangagwa said the two countries should build a strong foundation towards a collective bright future.
“Let’s build a strong foundation and chart a collective future guided by mutual interest,” he said.
The Zimbabwean leader said Zambia and Zimbabwe have a relationship of shared history which cannot be broken.
