‘Mighty’ Forest back to Super Division

‘MIGHTY’ Mufulira Wanderers and Forest Rangers on Sunday bounced back to the Super Division after spending eight years and a season respectively in the lower ranks.
Wanderers, who were demoted to the lower ranks in 2005, battled to a 1-all draw with demoted Grinaker in a Division One (North) Week 33 match in Chililabombwe while Forest were held by a similar margin by another demoted side Nkwiza.
Wanderers and Forest have 64 points each but the latter have a superior goal difference while third-place Chambishi remained stuck on 58 points following their 0-1 defeat to Gomes Haulage in Ndola.
“It is a mission accomplished,” said Wanderers coach Manfred Chabinga.
Wanderers, the nine-time Super Division champions, host Ndola United on Sunday while Forest are away to Chambishi.
Lusaka Dynamos and Nkwazi have already won promotion to the elite league from the Southern zone.

Lusaka Dynamos on Saturday won the Division One (South) championship after beating Zamcoal Diggers in a Week 33 match at Lusaka Show grounds, ROBINSON KUNDA reports.
Suzyo Mwale scored a brace that pushed Dynamos to 67 points, four better than Nkwazi, who lost 0-1 to Luena Buffaloes.
