M’hango: Teacher, unionist, social activist colossus

A TRUE meaning of humble beginnings yielding proper results, a primary school teacher then living in Matero township in Lusaka at a house with a thatched toilet now lives his dreams.
He was a unionist, he was at the wheel of one of Zambia’s leading NGOs promoting democracy and is now at the helm of a commission looking after teachers’ welfare in the country.
This is 51-year-old Stanley M’hango, the chairperson of the Teaching Service Commission.
