Marriage counsellor cautions breaking-up couples


A LUSAKA-BASED marriage counsellor has advised couples who break up after nasty fights to avoid meeting each other immediately or after in lone places.
This follows the gruesome murders of late deputy spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Tasila Tembo, former student at Chitambo College of Nursing Mapalo Masiku and others.
Mwenya Bwalya, of Zambian Weddings and Kitchen Parties, said what she has learnt from the two murders of Dr Tembo and Ms Masiku is that they met with their lovers not long after splitting.
The two women were lured away from the public and friends to secluded places where their murderers felt comfortable to carry out the hideous acts.
“I therefore advise that never take a break-up lightly, be vigilant always and let those who are close to you know that your former partner is forbidden to reach you, that you are not in talking terms [if that is the case] and that you don’t wish to meet with them whatsoever,” Ms Bwalya said.
